The Afghan Resource Centre is a registered charity based in New South Wales, Australia. Our organisation was established with a heartfelt mission to provide benevolent relief to the people of Afghanistan facing hardship, displacement, and poverty.
We are dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and families by delivering essential humanitarian assistance in the form of food, shelter, education, and medical aid. Our services are designed to meet the basic human needs of those who are affected by conflict, economic challenges, and natural disasters.
Our food aid programs ensure that struggling families receive nutritional support through carefully prepared food parcels. For those without homes or safe living conditions, we provide emergency shelter and basic necessities. We also believe in the power of education to transform lives and offer support for children and youth through school supplies and educational assistance. In areas where access to healthcare is extremely limited, we deliver medical aid and promote health awareness.

In just over two years, the Afghan Resource Centre raised over $856,000 in donations. This generosity continues to fuel our growing humanitarian response across Afghanistan and border regions.
December 2024
By the end of 2024, we had assisted more than 18,000 homeless individuals through food aid, shelter, and healthcare. Every life touched reaffirmed our mission.
Septmber 2024
We celebrated the construction of our 100th shelter, providing safe, dignified housing for displaced families who had nowhere else to go. A symbol of resilience and community support.
July 2024
Our growing network of passionate volunteers reached 200 members. From logistics to field delivery, their commitment strengthened our capacity to serve across multiple regions.
January 2024
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we reached our first major fundraising milestone. These funds enabled us to scale up food distribution, shelter support, and medical outreach.
November 2023
We constructed our first emergency shelter for displaced Afghan families along the border. This milestone marked the beginning of our on-ground impact, turning hope into action.
